Wash and cut chicken legs into pieces.

Add southern milk, sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, cooking wine, chopped garlic, and pepper to the bowl.

Stir the ingredients you just added to the bowl into the sauce.

Add the sauce to the chicken pieces and marinate them in the refrigerator for about 4 hours. The sauce is usually marinated the night before and used the next day.

Cut onions into shreds and mushrooms into strips and set aside.

Place shredded onions on the bottom layer of the rice cooker, sprinkle with shiitake mushroom strips, place the marinated chicken nuggets skin down on the shiitake mushrooms, pour the marinated chicken nuggets sauce into the rice cooker, and add a small spoonful of mature vinegar. Press the cooking button to bring the pot to a boil and cook for 20 minutes, and the keep warm button to simmer for 15 minutes.
