Two-color towel cake roll
Overview
In fact, this cake roll has been made according to Yuanzhuzhu’s recipe before, but it failed, but I never gave up. Although the two-color pattern ended up being a little uneven this time, I am very satisfied. I believe in myself and will do better next time!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Separating egg white and egg yolk
-
Mix milk and oil, egg yolks and 10 grams of sugar evenly
-
Pour the egg yolks into the milk and mix well
-
Sift in the low-gluten flour twice and stir evenly to make an egg yolk paste
-
Add white vinegar to the egg whites, add sugar in 3 batches and beat until the wet peaks are a little over and the peaks are dry
-
Scoop 1/3 of the egg white into the egg yolk paste, and stir evenly
-
Pour back the remaining egg whites and mix evenly to make a cake batter
-
Scoop a little cake batter into 1/2 tablespoon of matcha powder and mix evenly
-
Scoop another 1/2 of the cake batter, add it to the matcha batter and mix evenly
-
Put the remaining cake batter and matcha batter into a piping bag
-
First, cut a small slit in the matcha paste piping bag and squeeze it diagonally onto the baking sheet, leaving one line free for each row. Don't squeeze it all at once, just squeeze one layer first. Otherwise the cake batter will spread
-
After squeezing in a layer of matcha batter, squeeze the original cake batter into the empty space. Repeat with the two more cake batters until all is gone.
-
Preheat the oven and bake on the middle shelf at 150 degrees for about 20 minutes
-
Take out the inverted buckle, tear off the oil paper while it is hot, and place it in a warm place
-
Flip again and spread jam
-
Roll up, refrigerate and cut into pieces
