Libao’s first creation of meat and wheat cakes with onions, pickles, pickles, bamboo shoots
Overview
I have always liked this cake since I tried it, but I didn’t see any for sale here in Hangzhou, so I learned to make it myself. Although it was my first time to make it, it was really delicious! ~

Ingredients
Steps
-
Add 500 grams of flour to 300-350ml of warm water and mix into snow flakes, then knead into a soft dough, cut into dough, cover with a wrung-out wet towel and leave to rise for 10 minutes.
-
While the noodles are rising, combine the meat, pickled vegetables, bamboo shoots and green onions
-
. Heat the pan and add oil. When the oil is hot, add shredded ginger and then add minced meat. Stir-fry until it changes color. Add some soy sauce and continue adding bamboo shoots. Stir-fry for a while. Add pickled cabbage (pickled cabbage itself is salty, no need to add salt). Use oil, a little sugar to taste, and finally sprinkle with chopped green onion
-
Sprinkle some dry flour on the chopping board, take out the dough and dip it in some dry flour, flatten it and then use a rolling pin [if you don’t have a rolling pin, you can use a cylindrical plastic wrap] to make it into a cake shape
-
Place the minced pork with pickled vegetables, bamboo shoots, and chopped green onions on top of the dough crust.
-
Wrap the crust and close it.
-
Sprinkle some dry flour on the cake base and flatten it, flattening both sides, or use a rolling pin to gently roll it out. Place the electric baking pan [any non-stick frying pan can be used] to preheat over medium heat. Place the cake base and start pancake making. It is much easier to use the electric cake pan. The top can also be heated, and you don’t need to turn it over if it is covered.
-
Take out the baked cake and put it on the cutting board, cut it into four pieces and put it on a plate

The salty and fragrant meat and wheat pancakes with onions, pickled vegetables, bamboo shoots, and crispy crust break into pieces as soon as you bite them. It’s so delicious! Take a bite too. This is how my debut novel is completed
