Steamed Egg with Shrimp
Overview
One day, someone made me custard on a whim~~~ The conversation while waiting for the custard to be steamed was as follows: Someone: Let me tell you, this custard is delicious. Me: Why is it delicious? Someone: I put lard. It’s the lard my parents boiled for us. The custard steamed with some lard is particularly fragrant. Okay, I admit that the custard is really delicious, but could this look be any more horrible? Not only is the entire custard dented, but there are also many large and small holes~~Is this a rhythm that requires breathing? Someone looks over and asks my sister to teach you a few steps to steam a smooth, mirror-like, fragrant and tender custard~~~ It’s actually really simple~~~ Mix the egg liquid with warm boiled water, sieve, pick out the air bubbles, and cover with plastic wrap~~ Do these key steps and you’re done~~~~ Please look at the steps for detailed instructions~~~

Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare the raw materials: eggs, shrimps, green onions;
-
After cleaning the shrimps, add appropriate amount of salt and pepper, mix well, and marinate for ten minutes;
-
Slowly pour 2 times the amount of warm water into the egg liquid (after boiling, it needs to be cooled to lukewarm water before use), mix and break up; it is best to use a heat-resistant container to store the egg liquid to avoid steaming;
-
After the egg liquid is passed through a fine sieve, use a toothpick to gently pick out the bubbles floating on the surface of the egg liquid, and then cover it with plastic wrap;
-
Pour warm water into a pot, put the container containing the egg liquid into it, and steam over medium-low heat for 10 minutes;
-
After the egg liquid is steamed until it is set, add the shrimp, cover it with plastic wrap, and continue steaming the shrimp until it changes color;
-
After the ingredients are steamed, take them out and add appropriate amount of sesame oil, light soy sauce and chopped green onion;
-
Serve it on the table and eat.
