Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs
Overview
It’s simple to make and so delicious that you can’t stop eating it. It was too late to bring food to work the next day, so I had to prepare it the day before. The aroma of the freshly cooked pork ribs is really enticing. Looking greedy, my husband and I couldn't help but eat two pieces each for a while. You can also make a plate.

Steps
-
Rinse the ribs and put them into the pot under cold water and add a few drops of cooking wine.
-
After the pot is boiled, remove the ribs, rinse with water and set aside.
-
Prepare sweet and sour sauce: 1 spoon cooking wine, 2 spoons light soy sauce, 3 spoons sugar, 4 spoons rice vinegar.
-
Heat oil in a pan and add rock sugar.
-
After the rock sugar dissolves and turns caramel color, quickly pour in the pork ribs and stir-fry until lightly browned.
-
Add onions and ginger and stir-fry until fragrant.
-
Pour in the sweet and sour sauce, add hot water to cover the ribs, cover the pot and bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for about 40 minutes.
-
Uncover the pot and reduce the juice over high heat.
-
When it's almost cooked, add a small amount of dark soy sauce for color, a few drops of rice vinegar on the side of the pot for flavor, and an appropriate amount of salt (or not) according to taste.
-
Transfer to a plate and sprinkle with cooked white sesame seeds. It’s on the table! Isn’t it very appetizing to look at?
