Prepare the ingredients: as shown in the picture.

Fried tofu.

Mix the ginger slices and marinade with the fish tail and marinate for a while.

Dip in a layer of crispy fried powder and set aside.

Put an appropriate amount of oil in the pot. When the oil temperature is 60 to 70% hot, add the fish tails and fry them.

Just fry until the surface is golden brown. You don’t need to cook it because it will need to be simmered later.

Take it out and set aside.

Leave the base oil in the pot, add ginger slices and sauté until fragrant, add fried fish tails, mix soy sauce, sugar, and an appropriate amount of water (the fish tails have been marinated with seasonings, season with sufficient amount).

Bring to a boil over high heat.

Add the fried tofu and continue simmering for about 5 minutes.
