Fried fungus with yam
Overview
This is my first time to try stir-fried yam. I used to cook it in soup. I’ve seen people post this dish a lot lately, so I’ll give it a try, it’s pretty good!

Peel and slice the yams and soak them in water to prevent them from turning yellow. The dried fungus is prepared in advance and the carrots are sliced.

Put the yam into the water and boil it for a while. I also put the fungus and carrot in the water.

Heat up the pan, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add a spoonful of mustard and stir-fry until fragrant.

Add all the ingredients and stir-fry over high heat. If it's not cooked enough, cover it and let it simmer for a while. Add salt, chicken powder, and light soy sauce to taste.
