Peel the winter melon and cut into pieces with a knife, and slice the ginger.

Put appropriate amount of water and ginger slices into the pot and bring to a boil.

After the water boils, add some shrimp skin and cook over low heat for five minutes.

Pour in the winter melon.

Turn the pot back to low heat and simmer for about fifteen minutes. Turn off the heat when the winter melon is soft.

When eating, add a little salt according to the saltiness.
