Pineapple flavored rice pudding
Overview
Today, I used northeastern rice and glutinous rice to make a rice pudding. The rice pudding is pineapple flavored. I used pineapple juice instead of water. When it is steamed, the aroma of pineapple fills the room. Since only juice and dried fruits are used, the sweetness of the rice comes from them. It is not very sweet. It tastes fruity and not overly sweet. It is really nutritious and delicious.

Steps
-
Soak lotus seeds, lilies, red beans and walnut kernels in water for 2 hours in advance. Rice and glutinous rice should also be soaked 2 hours in advance. I forgot to take a picture of the soaked glutinous rice, so here’s the text.
-
Prepare red dates, candied dates, raisins and dried pineapple.
-
Place the soaked walnut kernels at the bottom of the bowl, then add some dried fruits and red beans.
-
Spread soaked rice and glutinous rice, and put a layer of dried fruits on top.
-
Mix the remaining lotus seeds, lilies and red beans together with the rice.
-
Pour the mixed ingredients into 8-9 portions of the bowl, then pour in the pineapple juice. The pineapple juice should fill the bowl. Put the water in the cage and steam it for about 1 hour.
-
Pour it into a deep dish and pour the remaining half of the pineapple juice over it. The rice pudding filled with pineapple flavor is very delicious.
