Pork skin is a relatively cheap ingredient, only 3 yuan per pound, so I often use it to make various snacks, such as this pickled pepper pig skin, which has a chewy texture, is sour, spicy, and salty, and is one of my favorite snacks.

  1. Prepare materials

  2. Boil water in a pot, add pork rinds, ginger slices, green onions, and cooking wine until the pork rinds are seven times cooked

  3. Take out the cooked pork skin, rinse it in cold water, remove all the fat, and then cut it into small strips

  4. Boil water in a pot, add sliced pork rinds, ginger slices, green onions, and cooking wine. After the water boils, turn to low heat and cook for 15 minutes

  5. Take out the cooked pork skin and soak it in cold boiling water. After changing the water several times, take it out and drain the water

  6. Put the drained pork rinds into a larger bowl, add white vinegar, salt, sugar, pickled peppers, and cold water, marinate the pork rinds for more than two hours before eating
