Steps
-
Rinse the freshly bought ribs and drain the water.
-
Put 2/3 bricks of fermented bean curd, 1/2 tsp of brown sugar powder, 1/3 tsp of pepper, 1 tbsp of rice wine, 1/2 tsp of dark soy sauce, and 1/2 tbsp of mirin into a large bowl, crush the fermented bean curd and mix well.
-
Add the pork ribs and marinate them until all the seasonings are absorbed. Add 1 tablespoon of water and 1/2 tablespoon of cornstarch and mix well.
-
Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, spread evenly, place a steaming rack on the plate, and lay the ribs flat on the rack so that hot air can pass through the bottom of the ribs.
-
Place in air fryer, set to 370°F, 30 minutes.
-
When the time is up, turn the ribs over one by one and check whether the meat is cooked through. If it is still not cooked enough, set it for another 10 minutes or longer until it is fully cooked. If it is very close to done or already cooked, set it for another 5 minutes. Dry the bottom side of the ribs and add color. The ribs must be fully cooked. Enjoy!
