Crystal Shrimp Dumplings

Overview

The kitchen knife at home is really not fast, so I bought pork, but it was not easy to chop, and the food processor was too fine, so I didn’t add pork, so I made an improved version of leek and shrimp dumplings. My happiest moment is when I’m cooking every day. Create your own fun.

Ingredients

Steps

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Ordos prawns bought from the supermarket, a carrot, a bunch of leeks, and two eggs.

  2. I directly remove the shrimp head, cut the back of the shrimp with scissors, and remove the shrimp lines on the back and abdomen. Wash the prepared prawns and set aside.

  3. Cut the processed shrimps into puree, use lemon to remove the smell, chop the carrots, and chop the ginger. I didn’t leave the shrimp alone, it was just as delicious as puree! 😂

  4. Chop the leeks, fry the eggs and put them in a basin with the shrimps, carrots and ginger. No seasoning for now. Water comes out easily after adding salt. Prepare the dumpling wrappers first.

  5. Add oil to the pot, fry the pepper until fragrant, cool and set aside.

  6. The ratio of starch powder to cornstarch is almost 3:1.

  7. Add boiling water and stir until there is no powder.

  8. Knead into a smooth dough and cover with plastic wrap. Wake up for a while.

  9. Add the cooking oil that has just fried the peppercorns to the stuffing, add sesame oil, oil, salt, and thirteen incense. Wear gloves and hold evenly.

  10. The dough is sticky and not easy to roll out. Place it directly on the board and roll it out flat to a moderate thickness.

  11. Using a bowl or cup, press out a round shape.

  12. Use a knife against the panel to lift off the skin. Haha

  13. Make dumplings!

  14. Boil water in advance, put a cloth in the steamer, add dumplings, and steam for 6 minutes. Don't turn the heat to full, otherwise the dumplings will easily break.

  15. Steamed.

  16. Remove and serve on a plate. Time is tight and I have to take care of a baby, so I really have no work to make dumplings. Please call me Big Mac Shrimp Dumplings.
