Christmas Gingerbread House 2014

Overview

This year's gingerbread house drawing design was a bit troublesome. It took a lot of time to complete it. Coupled with my serious procrastination, I have not finished it until now. The tile design is new this year. No one on Meitian has posted about it before, so I had to figure it out by myself. Sticking tiles is a task that tests your patience. After sacrificing a day of Warcraft time, I finally finished it. Christmas is approaching, and the New Year is not far away. It will be very atmospheric to make a homemade gingerbread house, give it to relatives and friends, or decorate it at home.

6. 6 Cut the butter into small pieces, add the syrup and caster sugar, and melt over medium heat until completely mixed

   

7. 7 Remove from heat and cool slightly, add whipped cream and stir evenly

   

8. 8 Mix and sift the weighed various powders, then add the previously mixed syrup

   

9. 9 Mix evenly with the help of a scraper, put into a plastic bag, and refrigerate for more than half an hour

   

10. 10 Take a portion of the dough, cover the surface with plastic wrap, and roll it into a 2-3 cm thick piece

    

11. 11 Move to oil paper and carve the pattern of the gingerbread house along the cardboard

    

12. 12 Remove excess dough

    

13. 13 Use the fondant rose mold to carve out the tiles

    

14. 14 Carve some small railings

    

15. 15 1/4 of the dough for baking pan

    

16. 16 Add lemon juice to egg whites, add powdered sugar in several intervals

    

17. 17 Mix the eggs with a whisk until even and without any dry powder

    

18. 18 Put the meringue into a piping bag

    

19. 19 Decorate the walls

    

20. 20 Apply meringue to the edges of the gingerbread cookies and start assembling

    

21. 21 After installing the four walls, use some objects to lean on to dry the walls

    

22. 22 Install it on the base

    

23. 23 Assemble the house as shown in the picture

    

24. 24 Small roofs must be installed with tiles first

    

25. 25 Today I use gelatine sheets to make windows, last year I used lollipops

    

26. 26 When installing a small roof, hold it with your hands for a while until it is firm

    

27. 27 Be sure to wait until the walls are solid before going on the roof. Carefully glue the roof in place, then install the chimney and tiles. Finally, you can decorate it according to your personal preference.
