Steps
-
Soak dried shrimps in water for 20 minutes. Wash.
-
Cut the shrimp into small dices, chop the celery and coriander into fine dices, and prepare the minced pork.
-
Add all the ingredients together, add appropriate amount of salt, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Adding cornstarch will make the meat taste smooth.
-
Mix well.
-
Prepare the noodles and corn starch and mix them together.
-
Add boiling water and stir until there is no dry powder left. Then cover and simmer for 6 minutes.
-
Add peanut oil and knead into a smooth dough.
-
Take a piece of dough and roll it into a thin crust. The thinner the crust, the more crystal clear it will be. Then use a love mold to press out a heart shape.
-
Take a piece of dough and add enough fillings.
-
Take another piece of skin and pinch it shut.
-
Place it on oiled paper. Be sure to put oiled paper on it when steaming to prevent it from sticking. The dumpling-shaped one is my husband’s masterpiece.
-
Boil water in a steamer, then turn down the heat to low, then add the wrapped love dumplings. Be sure to steam over low heat, otherwise the skin will crack. Steam for about 8 minutes.
