Overview
Clams are nutritious, delicious, and cheap seafood that everyone in the family likes. The only downside is that sometimes there is sand and you have to spit it out. You need to buy a live clam. If the clam sticks out its tongue and closes it when you touch it with your hand, it is alive. If it does not close its tongue when you touch it, it is dead. Do not buy it.
