Honey BBQ Pork
Overview
Barbecued pork is a classic dish in Guangdong, and most of the barbecued pork is marinated in barbecued pork juice. The reason why I brought this dish today to participate in the event of making old dishes new and making a big difference is because today I marinated and grilled them with my own honey juice. The ingredients are natural and pure, with absolutely no additives. The taste is also very good. Even northerners who don’t often eat barbecued pork will fall in love with this dish after eating it. The grilled barbecued pork meat is firm and elastic, yet not too soft. It tastes great!

Steps
-
Choose the meat near the neck
-
Cut into four pieces according to the desired texture and prick holes with a fork to enhance the flavor when marinating.
-
Dig the maltose into a bowl, add honey, five-spice powder and salt. The original text uses Maggi soy sauce, which is soy sauce that has a freshness-enhancing effect. I am used to using June Fresh, and finally add a little dark soy sauce. After I added dark soy sauce, the color became darker. If you use June Fresh, just don’t add dark soy sauce. Stir evenly to form a thicker honey barbecue sauce
-
Put the punctured meat into the sauce and grab it to let it absorb the flavor better
-
Seal it with plastic wrap and marinate it in the refrigerator for 24 hours to let the meat absorb the flavor better. Turn it 2-3 times in the middle to let the flavor spread evenly.
-
Take the marinated meat out of the refrigerator in advance and warm it up
-
For baking with honey water: Pour 4 tablespoons of honey and 2 tablespoons of white vinegar into a bowl, stir evenly, and serve. The ratio of honey to white vinegar is 2:1. This amount is not written in the ingredient list
-
String the marinated meat with bamboo skewers to prevent curling, then brush with a layer of honey water 15 Oven at 150 degrees, bake up and down for 20 minutes
-
Take it out and brush it with honey water again and continue to bake at 150 degrees for another 20 minutes
-
Then brush with honey water for the third time, and finally adjust the oven temperature to 200 degrees and bake for 8 minutes on each side.
-
Finally, you need to pay more attention. If the color is OK, especially if the corners have a zoom color, then it will be fine. You need to be flexible with your time. This is the final roasted barbecued pork. Just a little bit of zoom color in the corners will do.
-
Remove the bamboo skewers from the grilled barbecued pork, let it cool and then slice it
