Soak the beef in water for half an hour to remove any blood and wash it with running water.

Purple-skinned onions are suitable for stir-fries due to their stronger flavor. After peeling, cut off the head and tail, then cut in half and soak in cold water for 10 minutes, so that it will not irritate your eyes when cutting.

Cut the onion into shreds and set aside.

Prepare red pepper and cumin seeds.

Slice the soaked beef into thin slices against the grain of the meat.

Put the cut beef into a small basin, add light soy sauce, corn starch, sugar, oyster sauce, and appropriate amount of cooking oil in order and mix well.

Marinate for 20 minutes to absorb the flavor.

Pour a little more oil into the pot, pour in the marinated beef and fry until the meat turns white and take it out.
