Doumo
Overview
Doumo is a special delicacy in Henan. It originated in Anyang. Now you can see this snack in many places in Henan. Every breakfast market here has this snack. I personally like it very much. If my husband is asked to choose breakfast, his most common choice is tofu. In fact, making bean foam is not complicated. You just need to soak the millet in water and cook the peanuts and soybeans the night before. It usually takes 10 minutes to make it in the morning. Dou foam is actually made from ground millet. It is called dou foam because cooked soybeans and peanuts are added to it. Some seasonal vegetables should be added to the bean foam, such as spinach, carrots, etc. Because it is the harvesting season for wild vegetables and there is no time to wait, and in order to participate in the event, I added some Malantou. Malantou itself has no special taste, so it is also suitable for adding to bean paste. If you also like it, just make a bowl of nutritious and delicious bean foam at home with simple ingredients.

In order to make it quickly in the morning, I pre-cooked peanuts and soybeans in the rice cooker at night. If making for dinner, cook these in the afternoon.

Soak the millet in water before going to bed. Generally, soaking for about 3 hours is enough.
