Ingredients

Steps

  1. The main ingredients are ready (the chicken asks the boss to help chop it).

  2. Soak lotus leaves and enoki mushrooms in water for a while.

  3. Chop the red dates and shred the ginger.

  4. Add cooking wine, salt, oil, oyster sauce and cornstarch to the washed chicken to taste (the cooking wine will remove the fishy smell and make the chicken tender and smooth)

  5. Add ginger and red dates to the plate and mix well.

  6. Place the washed lotus leaves on a plate, pour in the seasoned chicken, and then add the daylilies.

  7. After the water in the pot boils, add the wrapped chicken (try to choose large lotus leaves and wrap them with toothpicks)

  8. Steam over high heat for ten minutes, then turn to low heat and steam until cooked (the steaming time is about 18 to 20 minutes due to wrapping)

  9. Open the lotus leaves and the rich scent of lotus comes out. Add chopped green onion (if you don’t like to omit it)

  10. Finished product. Just ripe, tender and full of lotus flavor. Delicious!
