Soak the red beans overnight in advance.

Pour red beans, appropriate amount of water, red dates, and rock sugar into the pot. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for about 1 hour.

Cook until the red beans are soft and bloom and become sandy.

Mix glutinous rice flour and sticky rice flour.

Pour in enough water and knead into a slightly hard dough.

Roll each into small balls.

Bring water to a boil in a pot, pour in the dumplings and cook until they float.

Take it out and immediately put it into ice water (this step can make the balls bounce)

Take out the drained meatballs and add them to the cooked red bean soup.
