  1. Prepare all the ingredients. The tofu skin was added later and was not photographed.

  2. Wash the big bones and put them in cold water.

  3. Bring to a boil over high heat, cook for 5 minutes, and discard the water.

  4. Rinse the foam off the big bones and put them into a pot with enough cold water. Add the onions, ginger, star anise, red dates and sesame paste into the pot. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to a simmer.
