Fancy bean paste bread
Overview
I was visiting the supermarket today and saw a tall bread on display in the baking kitchen cabinet. It looked complicated, but in fact it is not difficult to make. There are many ways to make it. I used the method of making sunflower sesame butter bread to create this fancy bean paste bread. It has a beautiful appearance and a soft and fluffy interior. I made it myself without any additional additives, making it safer, healthier and more secure to eat!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Except for corn oil, salt and yeast, mix all the main ingredients and knead until there is no dry powder (milk should be added gradually, depending on the water absorption of the flour), cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes, add yeast (knead until the yeast dissolves) → salt (knead to form a rough film, the dough will be smooth, and a thicker film can be pulled out.) → corn oil (knead until it is fully expanded, the surface of the dough will be smooth and delicate, and a thin and unbreakable film can be pulled out).
-
Leave to ferment in a warm place until doubled in size.
-
After fermentation, deflate the dough, divide into 2 equal portions, roll into balls, cover with plastic wrap and rest for 15 minutes.
-
Roll the small pieces of dough into rounds with a diameter of about 18cm, and place the dough pieces on a piece of baking paper to facilitate shaping and movement.
-
Spread a layer of bean paste on the first piece of dough, leaving 1cm unsmeared on the edge.
-
Place the second dough piece on top of the first dough piece.
-
Take a small bowl and make a mark in the middle. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts without cutting into the circle marked in the middle.
-
Cut each portion into 2 pieces to make 12 portions.
-
Cut each portion into 24 portions.
-
Each small piece is twisted in the same direction to form a flower shape.
-
Place in an 8-inch round mold for secondary fermentation.
-
Ferment until doubled in size, brush the surface with egg wash, and sprinkle white sesame seeds in the middle circle.
-
Preheat the oven, middle layer, upper and lower heat, bake at 130 degrees for 30 minutes (adjust the baking time and temperature according to your own oven), cover with tin foil when the color is satisfied.
-
When cooked, take out.
-
Brush a layer of corn oil on the surface and keep it sealed while still hot.
