Vegetable (powder) cake roll
Overview
Cake roll series two... This creative cake roll is hand-painted with 3 types of vegetable powder (ie: spinach powder, carrot powder, beet powder). Although it is not as bright as food coloring, it does not lose color, and it is a natural delicacy with healthy nutrition and zero added nutrients, suitable for all ages.

Steps
-
Eggs, cake flour, salad oil, sugar, water, white vinegar, and coloring matter were replaced with vegetable powder.
-
Separate the egg yolks and egg whites into two oil-free and water-free basins.
-
Beat the egg yolks, pour in water, 10g of cooking oil and sugar, and stir evenly.
-
Sift in the flour.
-
Stir the egg yolk paste evenly and set aside.
-
Beat the egg whites into a rough foam, add 1/3 of the sugar and beat with a whisk evenly.
-
Add 5 drops of white vinegar, 1g of salt, add sugar in 3 batches and beat the egg whites until 9 and distribute.
-
Add the egg white paste to the egg yolk paste in 3 batches and mix well. Add the next batch after mixing evenly each time.
-
Fold the cake batter evenly.
-
Divide the cake batter into 3 portions and add 2g of spinach powder, 2g of carrot powder and 2g of beet powder to each portion (all need to be sieved). Mix the food coloring quickly and mix thoroughly. Stir the vegetable powder patiently. The time should not be too long to avoid defoaming.
-
Stir the three batters evenly and pour directly into the baking pan (use a piping tip to squeeze in).
-
Just swipe a few times with your finger and a beautiful pattern will appear.
-
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees for upper heat and 150 degrees for lower heat, and bake for 20 minutes.
-
Take out the baking sheet and immediately cover with parchment paper and invert to cool.
-
Spread an appropriate amount of jam on the cake roll, roll it up and refrigerate for 1 hour, take it out and cut it into pieces.
-
Beautiful and delicious pure natural vegetable powder cake roll.
