Steamed turbot
Overview
Bao's dad likes to cook light dishes with Bao. Turbot fish has no small bones and is so tender when steamed that a child can eat half of it!

Prepare ingredients. The fish is killed by the seller. When it comes back, rub it with salt, cooking wine, ginger, and rub it for 15 minutes.

Chop the ginger and green onion finely, and heat the steamer until the water boils and steams up.

Steam the turbot for 7 minutes, then sprinkle with soy sauce (the fish’s eyes are white when it’s cooked)

Heat vegetable oil in a pan until it is 80% hot, sprinkle green onions on the fish, pour the oil on the green onions and ginger, then cover and steam for another two minutes.

The fish is cooked and ready to enjoy.
