Chili sesame chicken nuggets
Overview
I often read Lao Mei’s recipes and they don’t like them too spicy, but they like to add Paprika, a non-spicy red pepper powder, to make the food very rosy in color and not spicy. If you want it to be spicier, they will add Cayenne powder. I am still more interested in Paprika. This time I made chicken nuggets based on Lao Mei’s recipe. It is neither Chinese nor Western. It is delicious and the color is very red.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Debone and skin the chicken legs, cut into pieces and put into a bowl;
-
Put marinated meat seasoning in a bowl, marinate evenly, and let stand for about 20 minutes;
-
Use another bowl, add batter ingredients and mix evenly;
-
Pour the marinated chicken into the batter bowl, or pour the batter into the bowl with chicken pieces, whichever you choose, stir evenly so that the chicken pieces are covered with the batter;
-
Put it into a frying pan that is about 40% to 50% hot and shallow fry, remove it, raise the oil temperature, and fry until it is almost bronze. Because red pepper powder is added, the color of the finished product is better, so the color of the finished product after frying is darker than the color of the outside without red pepper powder;
-
After frying, strain the oil and allow to cool slightly before serving.
