Scallion, ginger, cod and tofu stew
Overview
Cod is relatively common in Toronto. Like salmon, it is also a Canadian specialty. Fresh cod is more expensive, with large cod around 15-20 Canadian dollars per pound. At the famous member store COSTCO, there is chilled cod fillet, which is much cheaper, but the packaging is too large. And I will buy the store’s frozen Alaska pollock fillets (large, boneless CODFILLETS), which are less than 17 Canadian dollars for 2 pounds. This kind of cod is very suitable for making soup and tastes very delicious. The main reason is that it is cheap and you can eat cod often. Let me introduce to you my private recipe, onion, ginger and lemon juice, which perfectly complements the deliciousness of cod.
