Overview
I’ve always wanted to make Yuanxiao stuffed with fruit, but I didn’t have any suitable fruit. The egg fruit my family brought back from Hainan was a bit squashed. I suddenly got an inspiration, so I used egg fruit to make Yuanxiao and try the taste! I used yellow rice noodles and liked the golden color. I feel that the egg pulp is a bit dry, so I added some strawberries, hehe! The taste is really good. Strawberries don't have much flavor this season, but the egg fruit has a strong fruity aroma. The yellow rice noodles are particularly sticky. The fried Yuanxiao is burnt on the outside and waxy on the inside. It is fragrant but not greasy, soft and sweet, and very delicious.
