Christmas stump cake

Christmas is coming soon. At my son’s request, I made a Christmas tree stump cake for him. I also wish all my friends a Merry Christmas!

Separate 4 egg yolks and 5 egg whites into 2 clean basins.

Add salt, white vinegar, and 30 grams of sugar to the egg whites and beat until stiff peaks form.

Beat the egg yolks with 35 grams of white sugar, add corn oil in batches and beat evenly, then add 50 grams of water and beat evenly.

Sift in the flour.

Mix well.

Add 1/3 of the beaten egg whites and mix well.

Pour the mixed batter into the remaining egg whites.

Mix well.

Pour into a baking pan lined with greaseproof paper and shake to remove any large air bubbles.

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees, place the baking sheet in the middle layer, and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.

Light cream, cocoa powder, 20 grams of sugar.

Whip whipped cream.

Place the baked cake upside down on the parchment paper.

Tear off the parchment paper while it's hot, let it warm and then make a few cuts.

Apply whipped cream.

Roll up.

Cut the cake after it cools.

Set up.

Spread light cream on the surface.

Use a bamboo skewer to mark the texture of the bark, sprinkle with sugar beads, and sprinkle with coarse sugar and a little powdered sugar for decoration.
