Green onion beef buns
Overview
My bamboo buns like to eat pure meat buns. When I have time, I make a pot of beef buns. They have thin skin and big stuffing. It’s delicious to have a bite. .

Mix yeast powder and water, add flour and form a dough, ferment for about 2 hours to form a honeycomb shape.

Add beef filling and pepper water, mix well, and add in portions. Then add salt and dark soy sauce to taste.

Chop the green onion and ginger into mince and add to the seasoned beef filling.

Add peanut oil and mix well. The bun filling is ready.

Knead the fermented dough and break it into small pieces.

Press flat and roll into round shape.

Add beef filling.

Pinch along the edge.

The buns are ready.

After wrapping the buns, cover them with plastic wrap or wet gauze for secondary fermentation for about 30 minutes (the length of time depends on the indoor temperature).

Put water in the pot, add cold water to the pot, and steam for 10---15 minutes after the water boils. Just buns.
