Honey BBQ Pork
Overview
Honey barbecued pork is one of the famous dishes in Cantonese cuisine. It is made by marinating lean meat or pork belly and then grilling it over a dark fire. The honey barbecued pork has a very rich taste, with the sweetness of honey and the aroma of barbecue. It is fat but not greasy, thin but not woody. It is definitely a great dish to entertain friends and guests.

Prepare the pickling soup. Put oyster sauce, light soy sauce, and salt in one bowl. Put honey, sugar, red yeast rice flour, and warm boiled water in another bowl and mix well.

Pour 2 tablespoons of Huadiao wine directly into the basin with the meat.

Pour all the pickled soup ginger slices into the meat, stir evenly, seal with plastic wrap, put in the refrigerator and marinate for more than 12 hours.

Line a baking sheet with tin foil and brush with a thin layer of oil.

Place meat in roasting pan.

Preheat the oven for 10 minutes, put it in the oven, and bake the meat on the middle shelf at 170 degrees for 17 minutes on each side. Bake for a total of 34 minutes.
