Prepare materials.

Mix the warm water and yeast, add it to the flour, stir and knead into a smooth dough.

Ferment in a warm environment between 30 degrees and 35 degrees until doubled in size.

Take out the fermented dough and put it on the board, press it with your hands and roll it out with a rolling pin into a rectangular dough ball, about 3 mm thick.

Spread the red bean paste evenly.

Cut four knives on one side along the length direction as shown in the picture, and cut it into three-thirds squares

Start from the bottom and fold both sides towards the middle.

After folding, turn it over to the previous layer as shown in the picture, then fold both sides toward the middle, then fold it over to the previous layer, and so on until all folds are completed.

Shape it slightly, roll it out with a rolling pin a few times into a round cake shape, let it ferment for about forty minutes in a warm place, the cake will become slightly larger, and you can test it with your hands to see if the cake becomes lighter.

Add water to a steamer and bring to a boil. Add the risen cakes and steam over high heat for 25 minutes. Turn off the heat and simmer for three minutes before serving.

Cut it with a knife and it's ready to serve and eat.
