Grilled mackerel
Overview
This time I used the Chinese method (I guess, hehe) to grill the mackerel. If you boil it, you won't be able to enjoy the crispiness of the baked fish, while frying and smoking use a large amount of oil, which seems unhealthy and will make the Spanish mackerel meat dry. Baking it in an electric pan is convenient and simple, and you can enjoy the crispiness on the outside and the juiciness of the meat on the inside at the same time. This is a method I like very much. It’s just that my mother said that it’s difficult to clean the electric pan after making it, haha, for the sake of deliciousness, just go to more trouble

Thaw the Spanish mackerel, remove the gills and internal organs, wash and cut open. Last time, I cut it into several sections with a cross section perpendicular to the fish bone. It may have been because it was thawed too much, and the meat was a little loose in the end. This time I cut it in half down the middle.

Sprinkle five-spice powder and add onion and ginger cooking wine. This time I only sprinkled one side with allspice and no salt. . It is recommended to spread the salt and five-spice powder evenly on both sides. Marinate for half an hour (I have read some recipes before and it seems that it does not require marinating for this long. I work slowly and the marinating time is long O(∩_∩)O~, but I think there is nothing wrong with it in the end

Obviously, the electric baking pan cannot accommodate a whole piece at a time, so it needs to be cut off
-
Brush the electric baking pan with oil. The oil should be spread evenly. There is a very tricky thing here, that is, my electric baking pan is double-sided, but my mother did not tell me that the top side needs to be turned on to heat the side switch. As a result, I actually only used the bottom side to heat the first time. Therefore, it is recommended to fully understand how to use your own electric baking pan. I would also like to add here that I personally feel that if you don’t have an electric baking pan, you can still use a pan to bake

Put the pot in the first half
-
Be sure to check whether the fish meat on the inner layer is cooked. If the flesh turns as white as the concave surface, it means it’s ok. If the meat appears transparent, it means it is still raw
-
The remaining part is done in the same way (the first half of the fish I used is grilled, and only the second half is left. If the fish is large, it needs to be cut into several more sections, and the electric baking pan must be able to fit it)
-
If it is heated in a single layer, be sure to turn it over. In addition, I added five spice powder and salt during the baking process this time
-
Bake until cooked and ready to serve. If you like, you can also add some fresh green onions, coriander, sesame seeds, etc. O(∩_∩)O~
