Lotus root cake
Overview
I have made lotus root pancakes several times, but I have never cut them into shreds. I usually make pancakes on the left side for breakfast. Every time I cut them into triangles, this time I cut them into cubes.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Wash lotus root slices
-
Cut into shreds, sprinkle with a little salt, and marinate for about ten minutes until the water comes out and the lotus root becomes soft
-
Crack in an egg and mix well
-
Add about 200g flour and make a paste
-
This is a bit dry, add some milk to dilute it
-
But it should not be too thin. It will not be easy to form when fried. This kind of thick paste is good
-
Add chopped green onion and a little minced meat and mix well
-
Just like this
-
Pour a little oil into the pancake pan and add half a spoon of butter
-
Pour the batter into the pan and spread it with a spoon
-
Spread it into a larger round shape, but not too thin, otherwise it will be easy to rot and difficult to shape
-
Cover the pan and simmer for a few minutes, then turn over and sprinkle with a little salt
-
Take it out of the pot when both sides are slightly brown. Cut it into strips with a knife
-
Then cut it crosswise into small pieces, cut off the arcs on both sides, and eat the corners directly
-
Arrange into a fan shape
-
The shredded lotus root meatloaf is ready
-
Press the porridge button for rice and sweet potatoes. The porridge is not thick enough. After the time is up, press the cook button again and cook for half an hour. It will be very thick. Add a little salt. Put it in a bowl and then add some sugar.

Make some sauce for dipping, perfect!
