Braised Fu Shou Fish in Sauce

Everyone knows the benefits of fish, but we are not very good at eating spicy food in the south, so our home-cooked dishes are relatively light. My little one likes fish very much, so I cook it in various ways. This Braised Fu Shou Fish with Sauce is her favorite.

  1. Kill a lucky fish, remove the internal organs and scales, and score a few times on both sides

  2. Ginger, onion and garlic are ready

  3. Spread some salt on both sides of the fish and marinate with ginger slices for a while

  4. Adjust the sauce while marinating

  5. Take a small bowl, put the ginger, onion and garlic, add one spoon of light soy sauce, two spoons of oyster sauce, one spoon of cooking oil, one spoon of chicken powder and a large spoon of stock to make a sauce

  6. Heat oil in a pot and sauté ginger slices until fragrant

  7. Put the Fu Shou fish in, cover it, and fry slowly over low heat

  8. After frying one side, flip over and fry the other side

  9. When the other side is almost cooked, pour the prepared sauce in

  10. Simmer slowly over medium heat for ten minutes

  11. The soup is almost dry

  12. Take the fish out and pour the sauce from the bottom of the pot

  13. Finally, sprinkle with chopped green onion and serve
