A cake you can make even if you don’t know how to make cakes-----Chinese rice cake
Overview
I wanted to make a cake in the traditional sense, but I still had a lot of cheesecake at home. If I made it again, I would really have to let it go bad in the refrigerator, so I thought of making this cake. This cake is not only delicious, but easy to make, and most importantly, it can be eaten as a meal, so there is no waste. Since it is a cake, you must use some eggs for it. It sounds simple, but for a person like me who works very slowly, it still took me a whole morning, so I still need a little patience. If you don’t know how to make traditional cakes, no problem, just make Chinese ones. This cake is colorful and you can use your imagination. I think when you give it to your family or friends, they will definitely like it.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Peel the potatoes, wash them, cut them into pieces, and steam them for 20 minutes.
-
Add seasoning to cooked rice and mix well.
-
Press the steamed potatoes into a puree, add an appropriate amount of salt, pepper and sesame oil, and mix well. If it feels a little dry, you can add an appropriate amount of milk and mix well. The mashed potatoes are finally squeezed into small decorative flowers.
-
Wrap the bottom of the mold with plastic wrap, brush a layer of oil around it, add the mixed rice and press it tightly.
-
Add salt to the eggs, beat them and fry them into egg skins.
-
Cut into strips.
-
Wash the spinach, add oil and salt to boiling water, and blanch it.
-
After the blanched spinach is almost cool, put on disposable gloves, squeeze out the water, and chop the spinach into pieces.
-
Mix spinach with some salt, sesame oil and chicken essence, then spread it flat in the mold and press it tightly.
-
Cut carrots, radish and luncheon meat into thin slices and press them into your favorite flower shape.
-
Chop the remaining scraps of the embossed shape. I also used a few cooked mushrooms here, add some seasoning, and add in the mashed potatoes you feel you can’t use up. Mix well so that you don’t waste ingredients.
-
Pour into the mold, flatten and press firmly.
