Whole wheat ear bread
Overview
Wheat bread is usually evolved from French baguette. Long strips of dough are cut into small pieces. Because the dough looks like wheat ears after shaping, it is named wheat bread. This bread is made with whole-wheat flour in the same way as ordinary bread. Of course, fillings are added according to personal taste. After the finished product is baked, it looks like yellow wheat ears. It is very convenient to break off a piece and eat it. It is delicious and enjoyable to chew on the whole-wheat flour.

Steps
-
Add more than half of the milk, eggs (reserve half of the less for brushing with egg wash later), salt, high-gluten flour, whole wheat flour, sugar, and yeast powder, put them into the bread in order, and perform the dough mixing process.
-
Stir the butter into the bread machine and perform the kneading process. After kneading, put the dough into the baking bowl and let it rise at room temperature.
-
When the dough doubles in size, poke a hole in the middle of the dough with your hands to deflate the air.
-
Divide the dough into 2 parts, press the dough with your hands to deflate the dough and roll it into a round shape. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
-
Take a portion of the relaxed dough, roll it into a long round shape, brush with egg wash, sprinkle with coarse granulated sugar, sprinkle with chopped peanuts, and press lightly with your hands.
-
Roll the dough into a long roll with the seal facing down.
-
Use scissors to tilt 30 degrees and cut out the long row of dough rolls (cannot cut).
-
Pull out the long dough roll from left to right to make a wheat ear shape.
-
Place the wheat ears into a baking pan, cover with plastic wrap and let rise for a second time at room temperature for about 1 hour.
-
After rising, brush with egg wash, sprinkle with wheat germ, preheat the oven, put it in the oven, 170 degrees, and bake for 18 minutes.
-
Take out the baked bread and place it on a rack to cool.
