Cumin beef jerky
Overview

If you like a stronger taste, you can add some chili or curry, which will taste better.

Wash the beef and soak it in water

Cut into finger-sized strips against the grain, add light soy sauce, red wine, salt, pepper, green onion slices, ginger slices, and garlic slices and marinate for 30 minutes

After the oil in the pot is hot, add chili pepper, Sichuan peppercorns, star anise, onion, ginger and garlic and sauté

Pour in the marinated beef and stir-fry

Add appropriate amount of water and rock sugar

Bring to a boil over high heat, add dark soy sauce, oil, cinnamon and bay leaves, turn to low heat and simmer for about 1 hour

Reduce the juice over high heat, add appropriate amount of cumin and cooked sesame seeds. I don’t have any white sesame seeds at home, so I used black sesame seeds

Place in a baking pan, bake at 200° for 3-5 minutes
