  1. Ingredients: Beef tendon, Pixian bean paste, green onions, ginger, hawthorn slices, cinnamon, cloves, peppercorns, aniseed (that is, star anise).

  2. Soak beef tendon in water for about 4 hours to remove blood. Then add cold water to the pot, add the beef tendon, boil until the water boils and skim off the floating residue, and cook for another 5 minutes. When the beef tendon is cooked, turn off the heat and clean the beef tendon with water.
