Wash the eggplant and cut into strips.

Put oil in the pot, when the oil is hot, add the eggplant to the pot, stir-fry until the eggplant changes color and becomes soft.

Add the fried eggplant to thirteen spices, soy sauce, and chopped green onion and stir-fry.

Add bean paste and water to the fried eggplant and simmer until the juice is reduced.

Turn off the heat, add MSG, minced garlic, and stir-fry.

Remove from the pan.
