Overview
Braised Nanbei - is a dish that appears in the fifth episode of "A Bite of the Tongue 2". Braised Nanbei is a traditional dish in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. It is made with Saibei mushrooms and Jiangnan bamboo shoots as the main ingredients. It has the mellow aroma of mushrooms and the fragrance of bamboo shoots. It is rich in nutrients, delicious and refreshing. Mushrooms are a famous specialty of Hebei Province. They are called Mushrooms because they are abundant in the Bashang Prairie of Zhangjiakou. The aroma of mushrooms lasts long and the flesh is thick. It is the best among edible mushrooms and is known as the best meat among vegetables.
