  1. Meatballs (for specific instructions, see my recipe "Fried Meatballs")

  2. Chop onions, ginger and garlic, add all the seasonings except Sichuan peppercorns and mix thoroughly to form a fish flavored sauce

  3. Heat the oil in the wok and turn off the heat

  4. Add Sichuan peppercorns and fry over low heat until fragrant and take out

  5. Pour in the fish flavored sauce and bring to a boil

  6. Pour in meatballs

  7. Mix well

  8. Simmer over low heat until color changes and the soup thickens. Remove from the pot
