-
Clean the silver carp head, drain and set aside
-
Gastrodia elata (recent photo)
-
Soak Gastrodia elata in water until soft and cut into thick slices for later use (the slices you buy do not need to be soaked in water, just wash them)
-
Pour an appropriate amount of cooking oil into the pan and heat it, add the fish head and fry until both sides are golden brown
-
After frying, transfer to a casserole, add gastrodia elata, green onion slices, ginger slices, cooking wine, red dates, and wolfberries. Pour in an appropriate amount of hot water to cover the fish head (you can add more). Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes
-
The stewed fish soup turns milky white, add a little salt to taste, and sprinkle with some coriander
