  1. Mince the pork.

  8. Heat oil in a pot, add onion, garlic and star anise and saute until fragrant.

  9. Add water, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, and sugar.

  10. Add the meatballs to the boil and simmer for 15 minutes.

  11. Add water starch before serving.
