Jade Dumplings
Overview
I originally wanted to make pumpkin steamed buns, but I found that the pumpkin was broken. I happened to have spinach leaves at home, so I thought of making jade dumplings😋

First, add 150 ml of water and a little salt to the spinach and put it into a food processor to make a puree. Then add it to 500 grams of flour and mix it into a green dough. Add another 500 grams of flour to 200 ml of water, eggs and a little salt to form a white dough. (The salt for kneading the noodles is included in two tablespoons)

After the dough is mixed, cover it with wet gauze and let it rest for about 20 minutes.

Roll the green dough into a rectangular shape and the white dough into a round shape.

Put the white noodles among the green noodles and wrap them up.

Cut into desired size pieces.

Flatten, roll out and make dumplings 😋 (fillings: cut cabbage into thin strips, grate carrot into thin strips, add two tablespoons of salt and marinate for about 10 minutes, then squeeze out the water and chop into pieces. Put the chopped cabbage and carrot into a large pot, add 500 grams of minced meat filling, Mix two tablespoons of oyster sauce, one tablespoon of sesame oil and some chopped green onion. No salt is added here because salt has already been added to the pickled cabbage and carrots. Of course, if you have a strong taste, you can add a little more light soy sauce or salt and mix well.)

You can make green bread with white noodles, or you can make white bread with green noodles.

You can also mix the white and green noodles together and roll them into long round strips and then cut them into pieces. Come as you like.

After the water boils, put it into the pot and cook it. Add some water after the dumplings float, then add more water after they sink and float again. Add water 3-4 times and it is ready to serve. The cooked dumplings are not very beautiful, but they are very healthy and delicious!
