Steps
-
Prepare the ingredients: Pork belly (I bought the pork belly where the meat is thicker and more delicious), rub it back and forth with peanut oil and salt, then rinse it with water, peel the yam (if you have skin allergies, the vegetable vendor will do it for you when you buy it), wash the remaining coriander and other ingredients;
-
Wash the pork belly (I stewed it whole), cut the yam into pieces, soak the red dates, wolfberry, and Codonopsis pilosula in warm water for a few minutes and drain, and slice the ginger;
-
Put all the ingredients in the pot (put the wolfberry and coriander later) and bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat and simmer;
-
Simmer for about an hour and put down the wolfberry and coriander;
-
Add appropriate amount of chicken essence and salt to taste and serve.
