Prepare all the ingredients, mix the chili powder, salt, MSG, and cumin together and put them in a small dish for later use.

Slice the beef, add onion dices, minced ginger, oil, cooking wine, cornstarch, chicken essence, and black pepper sauce, mix well, and marinate for 10 to 15 minutes.

Heat oil in the pot. When the oil starts to smoke, add onion and ginger and sauté until fragrant. Add dried chili peppers (it is better to soak the dried chili peppers in warm water for 5 minutes) and stir-fry until fragrant. Add marinated beef and stir-fry over high heat until cooked through. Add garlic cloves.
