The main materials are ready;

Soak the ribs in clean water for 30 minutes, passing through the water several times during this period. After the blood is soaked, remove and drain and set aside;

Drain the spareribs and put them into a large bowl. Add ginger strips, cooking wine, white sugar and salt, mix well and put it in the refrigerator to marinate for 1 hour;

While the ribs are refrigerated, press the tempeh, mince the onions and garlic, and mince the chilli padi and set aside;

Mix starch and water to make water starch;

Then put the ribs into the whole plate and put the ginger under the ribs. Pour the starch water over the ribs and sprinkle with tempeh and garlic. Add a spoonful of soy sauce and put it into the steamer;

Because it needs to be steamed for 40 minutes, I usually wrap dishes that take longer to steam with tin foil to prevent excess distilled water from entering the dish;

After the water boils, steam for 40 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped chili pepper and chopped green onion before serving.
