Two-color steamed buns
Overview
I made mushroom steamed buns with more cocoa powder. I didn’t want to waste it, so I made a two-color steamed bun. After this epidemic, we have learned more about the preciousness of food.

Kneaded dough.

Dip a piece of dough into cocoa paste (cocoa powder is used to make mushroom steamed buns).

Knead and knead until it forms a smooth cocoa dough.

Take another piece of the original color and knead it well, cover it with plastic wrap and let it sit for 5-10 minutes.

Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into roughly the same size.

Stack it up.

Brush a little water on the surface (to act as an adhesive.

Roll up from top to bottom.

Rub it down again with your hands (the thickness should be roughly the same)

Cut with a knife.

Place in the steamer to rise twice.

After it has risen, steam it in a pot with cold water, then turn it on over high heat and steam it for 15 minutes.

Take out the steamed buns after simmering for 3 minutes.

Do not leave steamed buns in the pot for a long time.
