Here in the Northeast, we eat dumplings on the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month. The customs here are different. But in my home, we eat glutinous rice dumplings on the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month. Do as the locals do, haha...making dumplings. Today I make dumplings with zucchini. Here in the northeast, zucchini has a cute name and is also called horned melon. Haha... Zucchini is especially fresh when paired with oyster sauce. I learned a lot of names when I married in the northeast!
