Underwater world scene cake
Overview
My daughter’s bestie also celebrated her 5th birthday. She is a very well-behaved little princess who has been interested in everything about the ocean since she was a child, so I planned to make an ocean series cake for her. My daughter happened to be at home that day and she made sure to participate in the making of her best friend’s cake. She also had many opinions. During this period, she pressed two holes in the cake I had spread. I tried to stop her from continuing, but she turned around and pouted and said: If you keep doing this, I will never be your assistant again! Ouch, what should I do? Okay, just pretend that the dolphin you clicked is surrounded by waves... I wanted to create an undersea scene, so I made a square cotton cake base.

Ingredients
Steps
-
eggs share the whites and yolks, and 3 egg yolks are mixed with one whole egg.
-
After beating, add milk in portions.
-
Pour the corn oil into the milk pan, heat until lines appear, turn off the heat and let cool slightly.
-
Add sifted cake flour and mix quickly.
-
Stir for a while and the batter will start to look lumpy. Stir for a while and it will become a smoother hot batter.
-
Pour the mixed batter into the egg mixture and add 1 gram of salt.
-
Stir into a flowable egg yolk batter.
-
Add a few drops of lemon juice to the egg whites.
-
Beat with an electric mixer until foamy, add 1/3 of the sugar.
-
Continue to beat until the rough bubbles disappear and the bubbles form uniform small bubbles. When the bubbles are relatively fine, add 1/3 of the white sugar.
-
Continue beating until the egg whites are thicker and lines appear on the surface, then add the last bit of white sugar.
-
Beat until wet foam. Lift the whisk and let the triangle hang down. Do not beat until dry foam.
-
Add 1/3 of the egg whites to the egg yolk batter.
-
Gently stir up and down with a spatula.
-
Pour into the egg whites and mix well by turning and cutting.
-
Pour it into the cake mold, lift it up and shake it gently up and down a few times, then place it on the countertop and shake it a few times with a little force. This will eliminate the bubbles inside and make the surface look smoother.
-
Place the cake tin in a baking pan filled with hot water.
-
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees, turn the heat up and down, and bake at 170 degrees for 10 minutes.
-
Then bake at 150 degrees for 40 minutes.
-
After taking it out of the oven, turn it upside down on the grill and let it dry, and divide it into two pieces.
-
Melt the chocolate over water.
-
Melt each color of chocolate separately, mix well, and put into a piping bag.
-
The little guy helped me squeeze the chocolate into the mold and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
-
I drew a fish at random, please ignore the lack of basic drawing skills, and if you draw it in reverse, the effect is far from expected,
-
Draw seaweed on oil paper.
-
Whip whipped cream.
-
Spread a layer of whipped cream on the bottom piece of cake.
-
Add mango and spread a layer of whipped cream.
-
Take a portion of the whipped cream and turn it blue.
-
After smearing the surface, decorate the edges with white whipped cream.
-
Fill it with frozen chocolate dolphins, fish, seaweed and shells, and draw bubbles with white chocolate.
-
It was really a big surprise for the little one who loves the ocean. I was very touched to learn that my good friends participated in the production.
